Its goal is to achieve a greater reduction in large truck and bus crashes, injuries, and fatalities, while maximizing the resources of FMCSA and its State partners. DOT inspections will become much more important not only to the carrier, but to the drivers as well. Under the new program, inspection results, good or bad, will be part of the driver's records as well as the carrier. For more information, Click here.
