Accute and critical regulation's

382.115(a) failing to implement an alcohol and/or controlled substance testing program (acute)
382.201 using a driver known to have an alcohol concentration of 0.04 or greater
382.211 using a driver who has refused to submit to an alcohol or controlled substances test required under part 382 (acute)
382 subpart c random; pre employment; reasonable suspicion, post accident and all part c inclusive, thru 382.605©(2)(ii) inclusive 50 % and 25 % thru the regulation's after said 385.605 as specified in this part whatever applies to your particular operation. some of these carry 1 & Ѕ times the point value.
395 point value doubles for violation's of hours of violations (driver safety and wellness) point values assessed for record keeping and retention as specified. Remember that there is no such thing as a perfect inspection pre and post trip inspection report all the time...
396 vehicles must be annually inspected if they do not exceed 25,000 miles in a 12 mo. Period. If they exceed 25,000 miles the mileage is your guide for dot inspection's. A b inspection may be made for those vehicles which have hour's meter on them i.e.; oil delivery trucks proper paper work must be kept on all maintenance repairs whether in house or from an outside shop. Proper certifications especially for person's doing brake work from an outside shop must be furnished to you by said shop and keep the certification letter in your red library note book properly tabbed.

Accident rate's are a factor in the overall equation of your safe stats ratings this is one area that continual training can help as well as operator awareness; attitude and defensive driving can help avoid accident's can happen to any one at any given time. This is one area that we cannot completely control.

It should be noted that one serious roadside inspection can generate as much as 540 accrued points. Thus you could be targeted for a federal DOT inspection training and maintaining a good training program can help alleviate this possibility,
